Blog Crossover This Week

Hey Preppers,

This week we will participating in something different that you might enjoy.  Several popular websites are getting together for a blog crossover: This means that we will all address the same question on the same day and all the websites will link to each other.  There will be five questions, and an answer will be given each day by each website owner.  It will be interesting to know how different preparedness/survival/wilderness folk view the same issue and how their responses might differ, so be sure to check in on a daily basis to Doom and Bloom(tm) starting Monday (tomorrow)!

These websites will be participation (besides ours, of course):

ModernSurvivalOnline.com

IfItHitsTheFan.com

About Dr Bones

Joseph Alton, M.D. is a medical doctor and Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He writes about medical preparedness for times of trouble, and is, along with his wife Amy Alton, a nurse-midwife, the co-author of The Doom and Bloom(tm) Survival Medicine Handbook, and well as a contributor to Survivalist, Backwoods Home, and other magazines related to survival and homesteading. Together they host the Doom and Bloom(tm) Hour radio show on the Preparedness Radio Network, as Dr. Bones and Nurse Amy. Dr. and Ms. Alton use pseudonyms so that they can be free to give medical strategies for collapse situations that sometimes are contrary to the conventional medical wisdom.
