Suture Class Colorado Springs May 18 and 19, 2012

Hi Prepper Nation,
At the upcoming Colorado Springs Self Reliance Expo, Dr. Bones and I will be teaching two hands-on suturing classes. There are two classes scheduled Friday, May 18 at 12 noon, and Saturday, and May 19 at 3pm . The classes are limited to 10-12 people each session, so we can provide personal attention and instruction. No prior experience needed!
We will be providing a powerpoint presentation during the class for additional education. You will learn when NOT to suture and how to use other wound closure materials, wound care and dressing, and how to determine if a wound is infected. You will be given a suture kit with instruments ( to keep), suture material, a pig’s foot and a laminated instruction card for future use. We will be teaching you how to create a sterile field, apply antiseptic, administer local ( water),  insert sutures, tie an instrument knot and properly space stitches. Each student will also get to “try” and use a skin stapler on the pig’s foot.
This is for entertainment purposes only. The practice of medicine without a license is illegal. Dr. Bones and Nurse Amy strongly urge their readers to seek modern medical care whenever and wherever it is available.
The class is expected to last about 90 minutes and a PowerPoint presentation will also be shown during the class. The cost is $59.99. The last class in Mesquite filled up quickly, so please contact us as soon as possible. Why not learn a new skill while you are visiting the expo?
To sign up please let us know if you want Friday Noon or Saturday at 3pm, and contact us at: drbonesclass@aol.com
We will send you a paypal invoice to your email.
Thanks so much,
Nurse Amy
