We put together a video about the Ebola virus to accompany our “Ebola Update” articles and other recent posts.  It’s important to know about this deadly disease that has killed 729 people in the current outbreak.

The death of Patrick Sawyer in Nigeria during his journey back to his family in Minnesota avoided his becoming Patient Zero in the U.S., but there are still risks of the virus reaching our country. With American Ebola victims being transferred to CDC hospitals in Atlanta, we have to hope that our advanced infectious disease precautions will keep it under wraps.  The CDC has many resources not available in West Africa; one mistake, though, and we could be in big trouble.
